Today was the first big holiday that we've had since moving so far away from family. It went really nice. The "Easter bunny" left a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their baskets (the kids love doing this) and we watched conference at home. I was going to make ham for dinner but unfortunatly that was not an option as there was no ham to be found at the local grocery store (or very much meat at all, it was pretty picked over) so I remembered we had chicken in the freezer from Costco and I picked up some potatoes (haven't had those in a while, I have missed potatoes) and Bushes baked beans ( I splurged on these they were almost $4 for a small can) and I somehow magically had everything else I needed to make a great meal. The chicken turned out wonderful, even Bryce ate his. It was a good family meal.
Thank you so much Mandy for making the efforts of keeping up with your blog (I do understand the hassle of it!)..Love and miss you all and it is wonderful to see your pictures and feel part of your lives! How is the house in Hawaii coming? It was awesome seeing all of you at the reunion...you all look and sound like you have found your dreams in Hawaii! Congrats!!
