Easter

Today was the first big holiday that we've had since moving so far away from family. It went really nice. The "Easter bunny" left a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their baskets (the kids love doing this) and we watched conference at home. I was going to make ham for dinner but unfortunatly that was not an option as there was no ham to be found at the local grocery store (or very much meat at all, it was pretty picked over) so I remembered we had chicken in the freezer from Costco and I picked up some potatoes (haven't had those in a while, I have missed potatoes) and Bushes baked beans ( I splurged on these they were almost $4 for a small can) and I somehow magically had everything else I needed to make a great meal. The chicken turned out wonderful, even Bryce ate his. It was a good family meal.

We went to Gunstock Ranch for an Easter egg hunt and they had free horse rides afterwards. The line was really long, Bryan decided to take Bryce and Lily to foodland to get some treats while I waited so Ashlyn could get a ride. It was so worth the wait just to see how much fun Ashlyn had. It reminded me of when I was a kid and loved horses soooo very much. She was really cute.
