We had two, very small and very unworkable kitchens in our new house. Luckily they were back to back with a wall between them, unluckily the wall was 8 inches of cinder block. (Our house used to be a duplex.) I didn't get a before picture, so this is a during picture. The cinder block wall took a LOT of effort to remove. In this pic Bryan busted a door size opening where cupboards used to be (ignore the mess, everything was on the counters that had been inside the cupboards, plus we are just messy, lol) It took a couple of hours (poor man) and he was drenched in sweat from the effort.
Ashlyn and Bryce even helped bust down the wall. They were having a blast, They actually were able to break out a few bricks. Bryan was happy to get a few breaks to rest. This was a big job.
Sorry the pics are sideways, I'm too lazy right now to figure out how to fix them.
Ta da, full Saturdays worth of work. I can't believe how much more space we have now. Hurray!!!!
